Simple Rent a Car Cluj – rents cars for trips outside the country.

Simple Rent a Car Cluj allows the car to be driven by two additional persons besides the contract holder. This must be mentioned by the holder at the time of rental; otherwise, transferring the vehicle is not accepted.
If the car is driven by a person other than the contract holder, any insurance purchased is automatically voided in the event of a road incident.

All cars in the Simple Rent fleet include the road tax (Rovinietă) in the rental price.
Any other fee is borne by the client. For example: Fetești bridge toll, parking fees, foreign-country vignettes if the car leaves Romania, etc.
All cars in the Simple Rent fleet have third-party liability insurance (RCA) included in the price.
Yes!
All cars in the Simple Rent fleet come with CASCO insurance!
Our car rental service in Cluj offers the best rates by providing rent-a-car services with kilometers included in the price. We also offer the option to rent a car with unlimited kilometers.

Rental car insurance
We offer several insurance types depending on your needs, age, driving license experience, and travel destinations.
1. SCDW
Super Cover — the most powerful tool by which you, the client, relieve yourself from financial liability for damages caused to the vehicle in the event of an accident or theft within legal conditions.
2. CDW 300
- Collision Damage Waiver 300: A supplementary protection service that reduces, regardless of fault, the financial responsibility of the renter to the minimum mandatory amount of 300 Euro.
- Offered when SCDW cannot be signed. Generally applies to persons under 25 with less than 3 years of driving license experience.
3. CDW 500
- Collision Damage Waiver 500: A supplementary protection service that reduces, regardless of fault, the financial responsibility of the renter to the minimum mandatory amount of 500 Euro.
- Offered when SCDW cannot be signed.
- Always offered for trips outside Romanian borders.
- Age & license experience: generally for persons under 25 and less than 3 years of license experience, or those representing an accident risk factor.
Travel & luggage insurance
Through third-party (partner) companies we can provide additional Travel & Luggage insurance services.

If there are no victims:
Take photos and video at the accident scene with the involved vehicles, directions of travel, impact zone, and damages.
If possible, describe in the video how the accident happened.
Fill out the "Amicable Accident Statement" document together with the injured party.
Take photos of: the ID and driver's license of the other driver involved.
Exchange phone numbers with the person involved.
Inform the rental agent immediately and follow their instructions — each road incident is different and must be treated with maximum seriousness!

Yes and No — Simple Rent – Car Rental Cluj reserves the right to charge a deposit in certain situations.
No deposit is charged when:
- The car is rented with SCDW insurance.
- Clients are considered to be in good faith.
- Even if clients rent a car with CDW insurance, if they have been Simple Rent clients in the past and have taken special care of the rented vehicle.
A deposit is charged in the following cases:
- Generally for rentals with CASCO-type CDW insurance.
- A deposit is charged for very long-term rentals.
- A deposit is charged for rentals where the car will cross Romanian borders.
- A deposit is charged for rentals to persons under 25 years of age.
